Westie's are outgoing, fearless, friendly and loyal companions. They possess no small amount of self-esteem. They are meant to be strongly built with a straight back and muscular legs. They should exhibit strength and activity and have a correct double coat. Correct weight is 13-22lbs. They should possess a relatively short tail shaped liked a carrot with good substance. This is the breed standard.

Kilraeke   Westie's are bred to meet the breed standard. We feel strongly that a responsible breeder must always keep to the breed standard as closely as possible when breeding a litter. It has taken us awhile to acquire the Westies we have, simply because our goal is to produce gorgeous, healthy and well mannered puppies. We strive to be as true to the correct type and temperament of Westie’s as possible. Our Westie's are correct weight between 12-14lbs for the females and 15-18lbs for the males. They are lovely stocky short coupled dogs with thick black pads, broad skulls and short muzzles. They possess correct ear and tail placement, and wonderful temperments. Health, temperament and breeding to the breed standard are our highest priorities.

All   Kilraeke puppies are AKC or CKC   registered, wormed, vaccinated and vet checked prior to placement. Each puppy is sold with a 2 year written health guarantee, new puppy kit, training information and life time breeder support.
